Facial Reflexology Therapy

Facial Reflexology Therapy

Facial Reflexology Therapy is an age-old therapy, which has been practised for thousands of years.

Similar in some ways to foot reflexology, working with the belief that the whole body is mapped out through the face, hands and feet.

One of the main differences between foot and facial reflexology therapy are the maps. The foot is mapped out over one map.

The face is mapped out over a minimum of seven different maps with 100+ protocols to ensure your session is as unique as you.

Facial Reflex Therapy Sorensensistem™ developed by Lone Sorensen over 40+ years, can be defined as a reflexology technique based on the neuro bio-chemical action resulting from the stimulation of an area or point on the face which has a general or partial effect on various areas of the entire body.

Facial Reflexology Therapy is based on seven steps that involve the observation and stimulation of various facial areas.

Lone Sorensen, a Danish Author, Teacher and Reflexologist is the creator of the world’s largest school of Facial Reflexology and Neuro Reflex therapy.

Pioneering a method called Neuro-Reflex Therapy. These techniques have been developed by her and inspired by ancient techniques from different cultures.

The aim is to offer very effective and natural methods to promote health. This technique combines both ancient and modern therapies, as well as knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the potential to balance the client on all levels, including, physically, psychologically and energetically.

It is to be remembered that it is a holistic approach to wellness, promoting whole body healing as well as managing individual symptoms of diagnosed conditions.

Facial Reflex Therapy Sorensensistem™ combines theories rooted in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Tibetan Medicine, Vietnamese and South American body maps and modern science of neuroanatomy.

Working with the belief that the whole body is mapped out through the face, hands and feet. Through considered and precise stimulation, sedation or balancing of both facial and cranial areas, the treatment supports the body’s own natural healing response.

A wonderfully relaxing experience for whole body healing.

Oh and did I mention the aesthetic benefits of Facial Reflexology Therapy - muscle toning, less puffy appearance through lymph drainage, increased collagen production to name but a few.
